At Commonwealth today, the Sled Island 2013 team announced some of the big names that will be playing this year’s festival. They include The Jesus and Mary Chain, Explosions in the Sky, Swans, Divine Fits, Joel Plaskett Emergency, Colin Stetson, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Mac DeMarco, Metz, Tim Hecker and Thee Oh Sees. It’s a great line-up so far, and the Twitterverse was quick to voice it’s approval of the new list.
