Visitors to Calgary often want to know, who lives in that big house on 13th Ave SW? You know, the one with the great lawn and amazing garden? On June 2-3, it will be the home of the Mountain View Connection Concert Series.
On those nights, you will be able to enjoy the final concert of the Moutain View Connection season will be Parisiana – The Legends of France. The evening – meant to tie together the historic Beaulieu Gardens of the Lougheed House and some lovely French arts – will begin with local musicians Laura Reid, Olena Kilchyk, Charles Foreman and Michael Bursey performing Piano Quartet No. 1 in C minor by Fauré. Afterwards, Kathleen van Mourik and Jason Nedecky will perform Histoires Nautrelles by Ravel, among other classic French chamber pieces.
The evenings begin at 7:30pm each night, and tickets ($40 for adults and $30 for students and seniors) are available at Lougheed House, or can be reserved via email.
